Standing Through Change (AS)
Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 4:13AM On a recent evening I watched a familiar misty window begin to open before me. As the mist slowly rolls in on itself a window into a night sky and a city below is revealed. The view over the city continued to widen until I was no longer watching a vision but I was in it.
The new vantage point was above the skyline of Paris near a section of the river Seine. Small fires and smoke could be seen from several buildings and other structures had been reduced to piles of rubble. There was very little activity in the streets or the old bridge I was watching, it felt abandoned for the most part.
At my height ahead of me was a very large Jesus standing on what would be the tallest building in this part of the city. His arms were outstretched from his sides, and he faced straight ahead across the river. Under each arm was an angel and though they looked as if they had been carved from white marble, they moved and were very much alive.

Scattered buildings began to shatter and then implode, with little or no sound, the stone and concrete turned to dust and what appeared to be black smoke as they fell. My view slowly rotated to 90 degrees right and back to facing forward. When I last turned back to Jesus the building he stood on gave a short violent shutter and like the others began to collapse. He remained unmoved, supported by the angels and their magnificent wings.

The abandoned city and imploding buildings felt symbolic of the old systems of control and people’s false sense of self, entitlement etc… being stripped away. I didn’t feel Jesus represented Christianity nor had any religious context, he seemed to be a symbol of anyone who truly embraced spirit in their hearts, thoughts and actions. The two angels showed how that connection will support us even in our darkest hour, and the number of them showing the natural symmetry of the celestial.

(This is very interesting Alan I saw Jesus in Paris landing in a little dingy, and I saw the five angels with trumpets that were with him). Strange we saw the same thing -- Stuart Wilde
